We wonder why there’s an epidemic of sexual assault and harassment in this country, but when a celebrity’s nudes are leaked without their consent people say they “shouldn’t have taken the photos in the first place.”
We’re teaching young men that a woman’s choice to consent to a photo for ONE PERSON makes her deserving of sexual objectification from men she did not give consent to.
We teach boys that they should be turned on by photos of women who are crying about the fact that he has seen them WITHOUT HER CONSENT.
We teach young boys that a woman’s choice to be sexual for a moment means that she has no choice but to be objectified by men whenever they want for the rest of her life.
We teach boys that the minute a woman shows her body to one man, she no longer has a choice and it is property of all men to sexualize.
And we wonder why there's an epidemic of sexual assault and harassment in this country.
It began long ago, in a land far away to the east, the like of which you will not find in the world today.

Le petit canard
This isn’t just goodbye, boy, is it? This is farewell.
Just so you know, you can be charged if you post Jen’s nude photos. Her spokesperson released a statement saying: “This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”
So like unless you want to go to jail, don’t reblog that shit. Same as with all of these leaked photos. Be fucking smart, would you want your private pictures going around the internet? No, so don’t be an asshole.
Every single person who has spread those photos should be arrested.
It honestly breaks my heart to think that somewhere in the world right now, Jennifer Lawrence (in addition to multiple other women) may very well be crying her eyes out because her privacy has been greatly compromised in one of the most awful ways possible. This is so fucking disgusting and whoever did this is a fucking low-life pig.
people who are reblogging leaked nudes:
Seriously, those were private pictures meant for certain eyes only. If you can recognize how messed up it would be if someone was peeping on you without your consent, how can you think it’s okay that people’s private nude photos were broken into and spread? Why are you looking at and/or reblogging pictures of people’ bodies that you were not given consent to see? Leaked nudes are not just violations of privacy, they are violations of consent and it goes hand-in-hand with rape culture (and misogyny tbh, because it almost always happens to women, and it’s women who are shamed, victim-blamed, and punished for it).
